Fountains

January 14th, 2010

Fountain – the most widely known and popular water feature of great garden. On the Montenegrin Adriatic coast number of fountains installed in hotels, villas and private yards, second only to the number of pools. Unfortunately, most of fountains look uninteresting and banal. Either it’s peeing boy or a girl pouring water from a jug, or a simple round bowl. Quite often once installed these fountains never function. Unattractiveness of existing fountains caused by the fact that it is painted concrete sculptures, which with lack of proper care became covered with cracks, and paint is actively washed off by rainfalls.

There are no fountains made of natural or sustainable materials on the Montenegrin market yet. Since good quality fountain pumps (oase, gardena, leader) are available on order and not expensive, the best option is to make customized fountain on place, taking into account the style of your home, garden, and your individual wishes as well.

The fountain can be made of stone, wood, bamboo, and any other material that will be in harmony with the surrounding landscape. The shape and size of the fountain are chosen based on the space and landscape features available of your site. Only in this case the fountain can fit perfectly into the overall composition.

In order to obtain a sketch of the fountain, designed by our designers, it is enough to send a photo of the place of your garden where you would like to install the fountain. If you like our sketch, then at your request we will provide you with the technical documentation for the construction of the fountain, which you can build by yourself or with our help. In the latter case, our company takes full responsibility for the quality and reliability of the object.

Water features for your garden

January 14th, 2010

In order to garden serves its primary function – a place where they love to spend time, it should be as close to nature as possible. In other words, that is to be filled with four basic natural elements: air, fire, stone and water.

So argue the oriental philosophy. As practice shows, it is in the garden containing all these four elements, where a person feels most comfortable, natural and peaceful.

Mediterranean climate of Montenegro allows for one particularity in living: almost year-round people in this country spend their time outside. Therefore the creation of a comfortable, beautiful and harmonious garden, so-called “green room”, is a logical and natural extension of one’s home interior.

If there is certain space on your plot, we recommend to make a small pond, of natural form, framed by colourful stones and pebbles and variety of colour and form of many water plants.

Just seeing the water surface already is a powerful stimulator of psychological equilibrium and promotes natural relaxation of the body. If you want to liven up your pond, then optionally you can put ornamental fish there, unpretentious in care. Most often it’s koi- Japanese crap. Sometime it could be goldfish. (More about pond and fish later).

But there is nothing that relaxes tense nerves as the living water- running or flowing or falling, glorifying not only vision but also hearing. There is a number of painless solutions for vitalizing the water in your garden, just choose, what form is most appealing to you: fountain, waterfall, or even a mountain stream.
